PADI Open Water Diver – Your Ticket to the Underwater World

 

This is the world’s most popular scuba course and the first step on your ocean exploration journey. This course will equip you with all the skills and knowledge needed to dive confidently with a buddy.

  • Who it’s for: Complete beginners with no prior experience.
  • Prerequisites: 10 years or older, good health, basic swimming skills.
  • What you’ll learn:
    • Dive Theory: Master the fundamentals of safety, equipment, and the marine environment.
    • Confined Water Dives: Get comfortable with your gear and practice essential skills in a controlled environment.
    • Open Water Dives: Complete four mesmerizing dives, exploring the vibrant reefs of the An Thoi Archipelago (Phu Quoc) or getting the chance to meet unique marine life in Con Dao, all under the close supervision of your Amadive instructor.
  • Certification: Upon completion, you’ll receive the PADI Open Water Diver certification, allowing you to dive to a maximum depth of 18 meters (60 feet) anywhere in the world.

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver – Expand Your Horizons

Already in love with the underwater world and want to see more? The Advanced Open Water Diver course enhances your confidence and builds on your skills through topic-focused Adventure Dives.

  • Who it’s for: Certified Open Water Divers.
  • What you’ll learn:
    • Complete five Adventure Dives, including two mandatory dives: the Deep Dive and the Underwater Navigation Dive.
    • Choose your other three dives from an exciting list suited for the conditions in Con Dao and Phu Quoc, such as Fish Identification, Night Dive, Peak Performance Buoyancy, or Wreck Dive (depending on location).
  • Certification: Allows you to dive to a maximum depth of 30 meters (100 feet), opening up a new world of more challenging and spectacular dive sites.
