You will be trained to perform all scuba skills to demonstration quality and will complete stamina exercises in swimming, gear exchange, and rescue scenarios.

 

3. Practical, Hands-On Experience

This is the core of the program. You will:

  • Map a Dive Site: Analyze topography, currents, and points of interest.
  • Conduct Dive Briefings: Master the art of clear, concise, and engaging communication.
  • Assist on Real Courses: Work alongside instructors during Open Water, Advanced, and Rescue courses, understanding the teaching process from a professional’s perspective.
  • Guide Real Dives: Under supervision, you will lead certified divers on underwater tours of Con Dao and Phu Quoc’s incredible sites.

 

Prerequisites: Are You Ready to Go Pro?

This is a serious commitment and requires you to meet the following standards:

  • Be a certified PADI Rescue Diver.
  • Have completed EFR Primary and Secondary Care training within the past 24 months.
  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Have at least 40 logged dives to begin the course and 60 logged dives to be certified.
  • Have a medical statement signed by a physician within the last 12 months.
