Open Water Diver PADI Course

Amadive is the leading diving center in Con Dao, Vietnam. Take our Amadive’s Open Water Diver course for beginners. Upon completion of these 3-4 day scuba diving courses, get certified and start diving anywhere in the world.

The 3-day Open Water Diver course is designed to certify you for a lifetime scuba certification. We organize courses every day with a maximum of 4 students per instructor:

Theory of diving (classroom) or E-learning
The theory of diving finds takes place in the classroom and consists of 5 chapters and video instructions. Finally, a multiple choice exam is taken to test your knowledge
Confined Water Diving
Shallow Water or in the pool, we will put your diving theory to the test and you will learn how to use the equipment underwater
Open Water Diving
For the first 2 dives you will do 4 full dives with an instructor to a depth of 12 meters and up to 18 meters for dives 3 and 4
Finally you will pass the written exam
Congratulations – you are now an OPEN WATER DIVER

Minimum age is 10 years. Divers under the age of 15 receive the Junior Open Water Diver certification, which allows them to dive to depths of 12 meters and upgrade to the Open Water Diver certification (18 meters) at the age of 15.

Please note

Snorkeling:

Children: No age limit, under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult
Adults: No age limit without cardiovascular disease

Scuba Diving

Children: Full 10 years old, not losing the ability to communicate
Adults: under 60 years old, no cardiovascular or respiratory disease

Tourists do not allowed to participate:

The patient has grade 3 hypertension, angina pectoris, is taking blood pressure medication.
The client has a history of respiratory diseases.
Customers are suffering from colds, sinusitis, stuffy nose, bronchitis.
The client has an ear infection, a history of ear disease, hearing loss, problems with ear
pressure balance.
Pregnant women

Note:

Don’t Drink Alcohol Before Diving
Listen to full diving safety instructions from the Instructor.
Make a medical declaration before participating in scuba diving activities.
Do not use sunscreens that are harmful to corals and marine life.
Do not touch the coral.
Do not actively contact or poke sea creatures during the tour.
Absolutely follow the coach’s safety rules. (keep a safe distance from the coach, do not arbitrarily swim too far,…)
Comply with local regulations on environmental protection.
Do not litter into the natural environment, collect garbage in the right place
Dive site are subject to change depending on actual weather conditions.
After diving within 12 hours, do not fly
If you violate the provisions of the regulations, AMADIVE reserves the right to refuse service and not reimburse costs.
