In Open Water Dive Courses, the number one priority is SAFETY. You will learn how to use scuba equipment (BCDs, Regulators), how to equalize, and most importantly, how to handle underwater emergencies.

  • Max Depth: 18 meters (60 feet).

  • Structure: Theory + Confined Water (Pool) + 4 Open Water Dives.

  • Prerequisite: Basic swimming skills and good physical health.

The Amadive Standard: We maintain a strict ratio of max 2 students per Instructor for Open Water courses. We do not do “factory style” teaching. You need time to feel comfortable with your buoyancy before exploring the waters of Con Dao or Phu Quoc.

2. PADI Advanced Open Water Diver: The License to Explore

Many people mistakenly believe “Advanced” means it is only for experts. In reality, you can take this course immediately after finishing your Open Water.

The Advanced Open Water Dive Course is not about studying in a classroom. It is about “Thinking Like A Diver.” You will complete 5 Adventure Dives, which must include:

  1. Deep Dive: Descending to depths up to 30 meters.

  2. Underwater Navigation: Learning to use a compass and natural landmarks.

The other three dives are your choice, such as Wreck Diving, Night Diving, or Peak Performance Buoyancy.
