Introduction
Have you completed your Advanced Open Water course, done some scuba diving and feel ready for your next big scuba challenge? Then the Rescue Diver course could be just the right thing for you! Many people who have taken this course consider it the best course that they have ever taken and many instructors consider it their favorite course.
Who is this course for?
Rescue Diver is for divers with advanced skills who want to learn how to intervene and help in emergency situations.
What does the course include?
You learned the basics of scuba diving with a buddy on an open water course. The Advanced Open Water course taught you how to develop these fundamentals and learn various skills within your diving toolkit. The Rescue course is different from these and begins to completely change the way you think about diving. For the first time you will begin to look beyond yourself and your abilities and learn to connect with others underwater.
The RESC course is taken over 2 days and you will learn to focus on other divers while completing a series of rescue scenarios.
- 2 day course for advanced divers.
- Deal with panicked or tired diver at the surface.
- Search for a missing/unconscious diver underwater.
- Rescue breathing underwater.
- Returning a diver back to the surface.
- Final test using all of the scenarios above.
The course is organized by Amadive – The leading diving center in Con Dao, so you are completely assured of the quality of the service.
Conditions of participation
- From 15 years old and up
- PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certificate
- Have a valid First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
